Can You See the Problem(s)?

Did you know that as a result of more people working from home and on their computers or laptops doctors, physical therapists, and occupational therapists are seeing more people for back, arm, and neck injuries? Many of these injuries can be prevented with some simple changes in positioning.

How have you been feeling? Do you have headaches, neck pain or numbness/tingling in your arms or hands? If so, could the source of this problem be related to the way you’re working on your computer or laptop?

This month, Jill Townsend, PT, CHT, Wellness Director of TCI, created a handout to help people set up their computer or laptop at home or in their office to prevent these injuries. We wanted to share this month’s wellness update with you in case it might help you, a family member, or a friend.
