What will God do in 2019?
Our rehabilitation promoters at ASELSI return to work this week. As they clean the clinic and prepare for patients to come next week, I am taking some time to look back to 2018 and to look forward to this year.
If you’ve kept up with what happened in 2018, you know things didn’t go as expected. However, what was unexpected from our perspective was not a surprise to God. In fact, I finished December’s newsletter with this statement: “Plans may not have gone as expected, but we’ve seen His hand in it all. I’ve discovered that His plans are always better than my own.”
As we start a new year, we do so with great anticipation of the things God is going to do. We have a clear sense of purpose and a plan for the year, but we will allow Him to guide us in the process. You will be hearing more about it throughout the year.
This month we’re getting things in place for some of this year’s plans, continuing to seek His direction, preparing to share at the M3 Global Health Conference (http://www.m3missions.com), and moving forward with our curriculum development. We have a photographer scheduled to take some pics for our manual later this month. We are excited!
So what will God do this year? We don’t know, but we will walk in anticipation and seek to follow His ways each and every day. We are looking forward to another great year. What about you?
