This morning I was working from my office.  Casually glancing out the office window, I was struck by the image above, an older Guatemalan man swinging in our playground.  I wanted to run out and take a picture, but I didn’t want to scare him or lose the sweetness of the moment.  As quickly as it came, it was gone.

I later thought, this man may have never had such an opportunity in his life, until today.  Instead of missing an opportunity because he’s not a child, he embraced the opportunity , even just briefly.

What about you and me?  Have we walked by opportunities, instead of embracing them?  Let’s be on the look out for our swing today?  We may be surprised the form it takes and the delight it brings.
